Pro:

At first I thought Agave would be the better choice because it is sweeter, lower in calories, lower in GI and GL, but then the volumes of health benefits of Honey blew Agave away. There is nothing in Agave. YES, it is a better substitute to refined table sugar, but it has no nutritional value compared to the antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, and healing effects of Honey.
So hands down, Honey is a better overall then Agave, but like all things, don't over do it since there are calories in it, but they are a much healthier sweetner than agave and refined sugar. ENJOY!
